Jasmine

White and pure

blooms the jasmine flower,

and its strong perfume

fills me

with sweet drunkenness,

that, like a wreath, I will place it-

on my head, and walk with ecstasy

through my summer’s destiny.

Vasos, your poem is like a breath of midsummer air—so delicate yet intoxicating. The way you weave the jasmine’s whiteness, scent, and transformative power into a wreath for your own summer journey is simply beautiful. It’s a gentle, radiant piece that lingers like perfume. Well done.
