Shedding off my old self…

How do you handle fear and self-doubt?

In truth, I wouldn’t describe myself as fearful. Any uneasiness I experience arises from my self-doubt.

Self-doubt has been a vulnerability of mine since my teenage years. Maybe my inclination toward introversion nurtured this self-doubt. So, being at that young age, I didn’t know how to cope with it. However, looking back, perhaps I had to go through this face as a lesson that would shape me as a human.

Well, from an astrological point of view, I have a Saturn-Jupiter conjunction in my 6th house, and this dynamic tends to trigger self-doubt. Jupiter embodies optimism, but Saturn demands perfection, and this clash creates self-doubt.

Anyway, how did I come to terms with this flaw? Well, as the planets matured, Jupiter at 16 years, but Saturn at around 36 years, with Saturn having the last word, completing my essential lessons, I slowly shed off my self-doubt.

The crucial turning point was in my 30s, during my time in Athens; it was when I experienced the most significant growth in overcoming my low confidence.

What precisely happened: I studied and, at the same time, worked as a receptionist at a hotel, meeting different people, mostly guests from around the world; these encounters somehow freed me from my hesitation, and my soul cracked open with confidence.
