Vasos, this is luminous. The ancient oak becomes a sanctuary for devotion ‘chanting ballads warm and pure as light haunting.’ And that line about diving into heaven’s bays, about questing new ways there’s such surrender and seeking happening at once. The poem holds the last precious days with such tenderness, making them not an ending but a transformation. Exquisite. 💙
