Under the black sky
I sit with the Moon
a heavy stone settles in my breast
pulls up memories,
the moments of happiness
that once filled our hearts.
But suddenly you’re gone,
leaving me alone.
And now
only sorrow
suffuses my senses.
Still, the white light falls,
and with it a thread of hope.
