taking turns

day after day

in life’s relentless game.

Yet faith and hope

hand in hand

spin through the struggle

weave through the pain

to lift us over torment

and gently guide us home

into solace’s

warm embrace.

    Beautifully written. Life really is a mixture of joy and sorrow, but your ending reminds us that hope and faith can carry us through even the hardest days.
