What do you do to improve your sleep?

This question is very relevant to my current situation. The weather here in Greece has started to get very hot. That’s the main problem, but secondly, I’m not used to drinking a lot of water during the day, only at night. That means I often wake up during the night to drink water, which disturbs my sleep. That has lately left me with a head that feels like a smushed pumpkin, and on other days, numb.

Now, the advice I got from my pharmacist is to drink water throughout the day and take electrolytes. That will, at first, prevent dehydration and further improve my sleep.

Also, not only for summer but as an attitude, I cut down on drinking alcohol because it greatly affects getting a good night’s sleep.

Generally, a good, balanced lifestyle, from nutrition to exercise, is essential for good sleep. It must be emphasized that healthy sleep is crucial for revitalizing our body system and helping it function effectively, as it supports energy production and organ function.
