How do you use social media?
I use a lot of social media platforms; I won’t name them now.
I mostly use them for my work. Uploading my poems, short stories, aphorisms, and links to other accounts, where I upload my work. I seldom use it for personal reasons, like posting an image of my dogs or myself.
We like it or not, we live in times where AI, technology in the form of robots, and the network get increasingly influential and important.
The point is how much and how we let these facilities intrude upon our lives and how we use them. For example, lately there’s been a controversial discussion about whether writers should use AI. Now, I wouldn’t forbid it, but use it only as a source of inspiration to get some examples and ideas. Avoid copying complete texts. However, your main inspiration should remain reading books, be it fiction or philosophy.
By the even filmmakers are AI. Recently, I saw a TV report about the new movie “Deep as the Grave”. Val Kilmer was in the cast; unfortunately, he died, and they didn’t want to replace him. So, filmmakers used AI to generate his performance.
What I want to say is that we can use AI, but only with the intention of using it ethically.
