What was the best compliment you’ve received?

Well, I won’t write about the specific compliment I received, but about the types of compliments I appreciate and those I don’t.

I don’t pay any attention to compliments about my appearance, like how good I look in that dress, my hairstyle, makeup, etc.

On the other hand, praise for my spirit, intelligence, and the quality of my writing is very much appreciated.

Looking back, when I was young, any kind of compliment used to flatter me. However, over time, I realized that compliments are not as important for my sense of self-worth as they once were. Because as you start to understand and know yourself, they become less significant.
