Bittersweet Symphony

Write a letter to your 100-year-old self.

Hey you! You’ve turned 100 years old. Congrats! Looks like I did something right with exercise and nutrition.

Sorry, there could have been easier solutions during the tough times. But you know, the stubbornness of youth and wanting to prove you’re strong, I chose the hard way, the detour way. Besides, you know, in our case, destiny and karma had a lot to say. Anyway, we’ve found our right path, and we realized pretty quickly that everything we went through, happiness or sadness, was for our own good. Bittersweet symphonies are always the best. Aren’t they?

So, you’ve learned a lot, you can’t complain. I guess that’s all I have to say. I hope you have many more years ahead. Keep going, keep going, keep going for the next 100.

What a beautiful, honest letter to your future self. I love the acceptance in it—the acknowledgment that you took the hard roads but trust they were exactly the ones you needed to walk. That line about “bittersweet symphonies” hits deep. Here’s to the stubbornness that carried you through, and to the wisdom that followed. Happy 100th birthday to you—may you keep going, always.🌷🤝

Beautiful thought. I’d say our life is really in God’s hands. Every hard and good moment helps shape us. By His grace, we keep going, learning, and growing. Grateful for the journey. 🙏
