History faded into obscurity

people desire to forget,

but life is full of conspiracy,

and history holds a strong thread

keeping itself in replay.

This is a beautifully haunting reflection on memory and time. The imagery you’ve crafted—particularly the idea of history as a “strong thread / keeping itself in replay”—is powerful and evocative. It speaks to that unsettling feeling that the past is never truly past, that it weaves itself into the fabric of our present whether we acknowledge it or not.

The contrast between our “desire to forget” and the stubborn persistence of “conspiracy” and repetition is deeply thought-provoking. It feels both like a warning and a lament.

Beautifully written, Vasiliki. This has a timeless, almost mythic quality to it.
