If you had the power to change one law, what would it be and why?

I would allow euthanasia by law.

I hold the opinion that if someone is incurably sick, sentenced to death by fate, and according to this sickness, theyโ€™re going to suffer unbearable pain or they will lose control over their body, meaning being disabled and bedridden and dependent on others; then and only then, as mentioned, the preconditions before, I would allow euthanasia.

Because every human has the right, if they reach such a state in their life, to decide if they want to live or not. Itโ€™s a right of freedom.

They are countries that allow euthanasia, but in my country, it isnโ€™t.

That is such a beautiful sentiment. We wouldnโ€™t let animals suffer in this way, so why our loved ones? Also, we artificially keep people alive that would otherwise die. I think if done right, it is a good thing

Dear friend, your our thoughtful stance on euthanasia powerfully champions personal autonomy and dignity in the face of unbearable suffering, echoing a universal right to choose one’s path with compassion.

A powerful piece! However, laws can and are so often twisted and misused.
