God Laughs

Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.

Oh! As for me, there must be no extraordinary events in a day for it to be the most ideal.

The first thing, of course, is to wake up and enjoy the first cup of coffee of the day. It’s a must; without coffee, my engine won’t work.

Next, I would sit at my computer and write. Write, write, write. Ideally, 1000 words, plus other creative stuff. In between playing with my dogs to keep myself motivated.

After reaching my word goal, I may do some workout and take care of my dogs. After all this, ideally, end the day by reading a book.

However, I’m absolutely convinced and make use of the saying: “Man plans and God laughs.”

It means we can plan our ideal day to the greatest detail, but in the end, it is written in the stars how the day will turn out.

Anyway, all in all, a perfect day for me is one where I can say I did my best creative output.

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and grounded vision of your ideal day. I love how it’s built not on grand events, but on the quiet, essential rhythms that fuel creativity and well-being—coffee, focused writing, the companionship of dogs, movement, and a good book to close the day.

Your mention of “Man plans and God laughs” resonates deeply. It’s a beautiful acknowledgment that the true “ideal” isn’t about rigid control, but about the graceful integration of intention and surrender. The perfect day, then, becomes less about a specific checklist and more about being present and fluid enough to do your best creative work within whatever the day actually brings.

Your ideal day paints a wonderful picture of a life well-lived: disciplined yet gentle, purposeful yet open. It sounds like a day where, no matter what unfolds, you can end it with that profound sense of fulfillment that comes from having nurtured what matters most to you. That’s a lovely blueprint.
