Social Atrophy

Untiring, the clock is ticking, time vile runs by, unstoppable

the world grows, falls into lethargy, corrupted to the core,

there’s a light of hope resisting the darkness. Can humans be saved?

What a powerful and evocative piece. You’ve captured the eternal struggle between decay and hope with such vivid, almost tactile, imagery. The “untiring clock” and “vile time” make the threat feel palpable, while the “light of hope resisting” shines all the brighter against that profound darkness. It’s a moving reflection on the human condition. Thank you for sharing this beautiful, thought-provoking work, Vasiliki. Please keep writing and sharing your light.🌷🤝
