My soul is crying out in pain

by witnessing an unjust bargain

about life and death,

where humans kill humanity

for the sake of power.

How long will this reign last?

Of numbness and timidity

enduring this ferocity

as a given gift by nature?

Oh! Wake up quickly, my courage

and gather all your strength

as the world is ravingly spinning

towards certain death.
