Rhetorical Knack

What makes a good leader?

First of all, a good leader should have a strong sense of fairness and ethics. Furthermore, he should be open to criticism, meaning he should be willing to listen to others’ opinions, which relates to his ability to lead and work in a group environment. Besides that, a leader must have a desire to improve themselves, as well as the environment and their fellows. I want to underline here, not in an imposing way, but in an innovative, educational way, that the leader should have rhetorical talent to inspire their comrades.

As for me, I think these are the most essential characteristics of a good leader. The most crucial distinctive ability, or I would say gift, is the rhetorical. History has proven that this knack can lead society to both flourishing and destruction.
