A year elapsed,

crammed with agonies,

tamed obstacles,

and many headaches,

accompanied by some joyful moments.

And as though tormented,

hope, unbridled,

continues to resist

swallowing this bitter pill,

instead, awaits the upcoming year

with uncontained passion,

finally to enter

with a flourish of trumpets.

The mind and soul

yearn for more

to receive and achieve

in the next year,

and to fulfill all wishes and goals.
