Wither

Beauty withered

in the passage of time

like the beautiful flowers

when they wither

their tender petals

fall one by one

worn out by old age.

I ask.

What will become of life

without its candid beauty?

Since in this world,

people only madly seek

obvious beauty

and stubbornly reject

the beauty of the soul.

Touching poem and fortunately there are people and poets, like you, who see beyond the surface. 🦋
