What food would you say is your specialty?

As I mentioned many times in previous posts, I’m not much of a cooking enthusiast. Okay, I can cook, but I only do it when it’s necessary. Usually, it’s my mom who cooks. When I cook, my specialty is noodles in different variations.

However, my absolute specialty is something I bake, and this is filo pita pie with Feta filling. The specialty I achieve every time is that the pie is very crispy.

Filo is a dough that can be stretched into very thin sheets. I usually use 12 sheets and lay them in turns with the feta filling. On top, of course, come the last two sheets.

Actually, you can buy the filo sheets in every supermarket and prepare just the filling. However, when I make filo pie, everything is homemade.

      It tastes yummy, but it also has a lot of calories.

      Yes, it takes me almost 1 hour, and it must be carefully stretched so as not to create holes in the dough. ☺️
