An Artistic Potpourri

Who are your favorite artists?

Well, here are my favorites:

Writer: Franz Kafka. Reading Kafka made me fall in love with literature. Another writer I like is Michel Houellebecq. He’s a French writer, in case you don’t know him. His writing might be a bit, or more than a bit, provocative, but in my opinion, he depicts society genuinely as it is. I think that’s the reason why he’s so disputed; people don’t like it when you show them the ugly truth.

Singer: George Michael. I mentioned many times so far that for me, he has the most perfect voice.

Band: Queen. Queen is Queen, and Freddie Mercury is a fantastic artist, one like we won’t see again.

Actor: Al Pacino. Since the first time I watched him in The Godfather, his performance has hooked me. Another favorite actor is Daniel Day-Lewis; the first time I saw him was in The Last of the Mohicans.

Painters: Salvador Dalí. His Surrealism triggers you to think more deeply.

Isn’t it cool Daniel Day-Lewis came out of retirement recently? I loved The Phantom Thread.
