What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Well, we receive a lot of advice while walking on our path of life. Some advice is immediately embraced, just following our hunch, while we ponder other advice, wondering whether it should be followed. The fact is, you never know the 100% outcome of the advice. However, as time passes, you realize which advice was ultimately crucial, leading to life-changing outcomes, while other advice has little meaning.

Anyway, I believe that every piece of advice we take to heart and follow is a piece of the puzzle guiding us on our path to our destination. Therefore, even minor advice has a significant purpose.

One piece of advice that I remember was when I considered pursuing a master’s in education. Still, my professor advised me to stick with literature, given my natural inclination for it. So, I took her advice to heart, and here I am, having published a book and continuing on the path of writing.

Funnily, before my devotion to writing, I worked as a German teacher, since my diploma from university gave me that possibility. But as you see in the end, writing gained the upper hand.
