What brings you peace?

I believe that to achieve absolute peace, one must detach completely from materialism. Nevertheless, we are humans, and we know that this is hardly achievable, except for those who decide to become a monk or a nun. But even these spiritually inclined people have to face temptations, as many revealed scandals have proven that.

As for me, here I use astrology again to explain. The 10th house in astrology represents career, social status, reputation, and other related matters, and I have Ketu there. Ketu induces you to detach, introspect, and search for spirituality, and let go of materialistic things. Astrologically, I have the inclination not to pay much attention to worldly, luxury things to reach peace. Furthermore, to keep my mind at peace, I listen to mantras, especially Hanuman Mantra, since I’m an Aries Ascendant, and Brihasapati Mantra, as Jupiter is my 9^th and 12^th lord; also, lately, I often listen to and chant Byzantine Gospels.
