The clock of my fate never stops

it runs continuously

passionately in love

towards you, my eyes

and if one day I don’t see you

my heart breaks

with a heavy sigh

and drags me into a lethargy

with your eyes

like fates* chasing me

to the fateful death.

*Fates, also known as Moirai, from Greek mythology. They are Clotho, the Spinner; Lachesis, the Measurer; and Atropos, the Unavoidable.
