Fear stepped onto my soul,
trampled on it
relentlessly.
Helpless, it curled up
together.
When suddenly
courage rose regnant
like thunder.
It endowed it
with two tremendous wings.
Then the soul rose
breezily upwards
until fear froze terribly
and withdrew in shame.
