What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

A week ago, I was rummaging in my closet when I bumped into a small box containing some jewelry. Well, I’m not much of a jewelry wearer, only for special occasions, and therefore, I store them most of the time, the few I have. I only wear my cross pendant daily.

But back to the box. After a long time had passed, I opened it, and there I found my pair of earrings that I had worn as a little girl. They were beautiful, simple, and light, and I immediately put them on. It was a bit painful because I hadn’t worn earrings for a long time, and my pierced ears were ready to close. However, they still looked cute on me, and I felt like that little girl. Can you see what a simple old pair of earrings can do? Take you back to the carefree, happy past.

So, I decided to wear them daily, as my earlobe holes would not close. Maybe they also keep reminding me and making me feel like that little girl I once was.
