My heart goes and goes
and overgoes
in a world that doesn’t love.
It constantly stumbles
over breakups and disdain,
feeling like a burning pain,
but hope and courage
bring it back to its feet
and the journey continues
far and beyond
where true love awaits
the pure, bold heart.
