On Writing

Writing a story is a magical process in which even you, as the creator, are surprised by the characters’ reality, depth, and development. But the most fascinating thing is that when you think the story will end, there is an unexpected turning point. You emerge more deeply into the story, continuing on a path with more intriguing adventures, with an unknown end. You just write and write, feeling that story close to your heart and living it yourself. Isn’t that how real life is?

Wow, what an image!! I was listening to someone talk about the magic that is writing and I so agree. I can’t give it up, even though it hurts my hands now. Another lovely post. ❀
