Samael

Published by

on

I stepped into my soul

and darkness surrounded me

when a cold whiff

touched my heart.

Ripped by fear and pale

I shuddered, clear

imagined it was Samael

inkling the end was near.

Hence, I was seeking hope

but hope was gone

off to the other shore

of death.

Your poem powerfully captures the darkness we sometimes feel in our souls. But even in the depths of despair, we know that Christ is the true hope that never fades. He is our light in the darkness, and He promises to never leave us.

Wonderful Post and Poem my Dear Friend..

That’s very true. As we approach the holy week, it’s the perfect time to reflect. It’s a very essential week here in Greece. We emotionally relive the passions Christ went through to save our lives. πŸ˜‡βœοΈπŸ™
