Discovering Vocation

How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?

To be honest, Covid-19 was the catalyst that prompted me to start writing.

Not very long before Covid-19 broke out, around 1.5 years, I had moved from Greece to Germany to make a new start in life and career. To my misfortune, I couldn’t have chosen a more inopportune moment for this restart, as things had developed further. I was looking for a job, and many people were losing theirs due to COVID-19.

The rules that were implemented, including wearing a mask, gloves, maintaining distance, and lockdown, weren’t tough for me to get accustomed to. It just felt a little bit weird, but not to the point for me to feel pressure or depression.

Notably, the lockdown helped me discover my true inclination and vocation. During the lockdown period, I read many books, so many books. Thankfully, the library was open despite the lockdown, and I was able to borrow books. Every two weeks, I used to borrow three to four books. All that input of literature I got led me to start writing.

And here I am, back in Greece, having already published my first children’s book and continuing to write on my new book and other projects.

So, we see that sometimes we have to go through struggling times,  so that we can enter the life path that is meant for us.

Congratulations on publishing your first children’s book. Indeed, Covid has given us plenty of time other than agonies. Many people benefited themselves with their intellectualities. I can see the image is very serene. A serene, golden-hued landscape where Jesus walks hand in hand with a young boy along a rugged path. The setting sun bathes the scene in a divine glow, illuminating the surrounding grass, wildflowers, and distant mountains. The sky, adorned with dramatic clouds, enhances the sense of peace, love, and spiritual guidance—a moment of pure connection and grace.
    Lovely post.
And forgot to say thanks for subscribing to my website. I am grateful for that.
    Regards.
    Arun.
