What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

I haven’t watched many movies or series lately because I haven’t had much time. For that reason, I have become very picky.

But….

I have watched Godfather more than five times; it’s my all-time favorite movie.

Then Pride and Prejudice. My favorite version, from 2005, features Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen. I love all the film adaptations of Jane Austen’s books.

Next is a French movie, The Brotherhood of the Wolf. I love French movies. It is set in the 18th century and combines thrillers and mysticism.

Well, recently, I switched from K-dramas to Chinese. I watched the Chinese Series The White Olive Tree not long ago, and I got hooked. I keep watching this series repeatedly, 38 episodes in all. The story is about a female reporter and an explosive engineer falling in love in a war zone. Returning to their country, China, they have to overcome traumas caused by war. I liked this story because it’s different from the other love stories. Here is PTSD in the play. It’s interesting to see how a young couple who fall in love, want to love each other, and build a life together has to overcome their post-traumatic stress disorder together. It’s more dramatic than the lovey-dovey love.

Some interesting choices. I’ve only seen the Godfather once. I love pride and prejudice, but I have to admit. I’ve only watched the 1995 series version repeatedly. To me it just captures the story so perfectly. Have a great day.

Colin Firth playing Mr Darcy. I also remember watching that series. I liked it; I like Colin Firth as an actor. 😊
