How has failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

Well, after finishing my Master’s Degree, I couldn’t find a proper job. After working in several Language Schools, I decided to move to Germany. So I did, but things there also didn’t develop well, and then COVID-19 came. I would call it a complete failure.

Then, returning to Greece, I again gave German lessons, and as I had already started slowly writing in Germany, I dived deeper into writing. I bought specific literature about writing. I recommend the book On Writing by Stephen King; it really was helpful.

Working hard, teaching German, and simultaneously immersing myself deeper in writing, I started writing my first book and finished it. And, yes, after sending it to many publishers, I finally did it and published it. You can call it a success, but not a super-duper one. I think it’s the influence of Saturn here speaking, now. Stay humble and keep on working hard.

So, I will keep writing and hope to write more interesting topics for you.
