Little things matter…

How do significant life events or the passage of time influence your perspective on life?

Indeed, some major life events greatly influence us and lead us on a new path, changing our perspective and attitude toward life and creating new experiences. For me, one of these events occurred when I moved from Germany to Greece; this significantly changed my life. A similar event happened when I moved from Greece back to Germany. A life-changing trigger when I returned to Germany and stayed for a few years was that I started writing there. But then Covid broke out, and I returned to Greece … again.

However, as we progress in life, there are not only great events leading to changes, like moving to another country or city, but also seemingly small, unimportant happenings that can have a crucial impact on us. For example, a brief encounter during our daily routine, an article we read in the newspaper or on the internet, or even a short line or a quote. These potential incidents can change our attitude and even our lives. The point is, how much are we willing to receive these events with open arms?

Time itself and big events in our lives both make us think about our lives, our values, and our goals.
