Relative Mess

Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

Throughout life, many spheres need to be decluttered.

I think the most challenging area to sort things out is toxic relationships.  Toxic relationships cause the most mess and harm. Now, someone may ask, what kind of relationships could be harmful? Any kind, be it working relationships, boyfriend-girlfriend, husband-wife, or relative relationships, and not to forget with whose we interact on social media.

The crucial point is how much we let those kinds of bonds clutter our emotional well-being and how we can restrict or even end them.

I experienced the most toxic relationships with my relatives. This means I didn’t get the support I expected due to our relative bond, even first-grade bond, and there was also another kind of misbehavior and misunderstanding.

You may now be curious how I handled this problem: these dysfunctional relationships, since I’m related by blood to those people. I can say this is the most challenging mess someone has to declutter. I managed this clutter by being patient and diplomatic. These two methods were two big lessons I learned to balance my emotional well-being, and I’m still learning. There’s also another practice I make use of: avoid toxic people as much as you can, even though they are relatives. You will immediately feel the difference.
