Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

First of all, I don’t have much time to play. My daily life is very packed, so I spend the little free time I have at my disposal playing with my dog, Lucy.

As it looks like I won’t have much playtime in the near future. It may be the beginning of the new year, but my reading list is already set. I have many books to read. Here they are, all Christmas and New Year’s book presents.

The titles in Englisch are:

-Marcel Proust, In Search of Lost Time. These three books contain all seven volumes, which are 2,045 pages long. Proust wrote this complete work between 1909 and 1922.

-Angela Merkel, Freedom: Memoirs 1954-2021.

-Italo Calvino, I on a Winter’s Night a Traveler.

I think only Proust’s work will take me months to read. However, I started with Merkel’s biography yesterday, and I can already say it’s a very interesting book.

    I’ve had the Proust books for years, with all good intentions, but have still not read more than longish portions. It’s a worthy endeavor and I’m sure will enrich your imagination.

      They say it’s one of the most important literary works of the 20th century. I will try my best to achieve that goal. 😉😊❤️

        What I’ve read of it is so beautiful and immersive, the kind of book you can’t stop thinking about even when not reading. I have no idea how I have stayed away from finishing it, but I’ll look forward to hearing your experience. 🙂

      That’s exactly the kind of play I like. About Proust, I think the perfect time to start reading it will be when Saturn enters Pisces. 😊
