You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?
Today, we can play the role of an interior architect. That’s fun!
So, the perfect space where I read and write should look like as follows:
The room is huge with high ceilings, and every wall has bookshelves filled with books from top to bottom. The books are categorized into different units, such as philosophy; this category is further divided into epochs. Then, there are other sections, such as German Literature, French Literature, Russian Literature, English and American Literature, and Spanish.
The room has a French window to allow as much light as possible, which would be opened to let in the sweet smell of summer, and a beautiful romantic fireplace for the long, cold, dark winters.
As for furniture, the room has a big Turkish-style sofa bed in royal blue with many golden pillows spread on it. Next to the sofa are two wide, comfy lounge chairs, one in royal blue and the other in golden. The writing desk would be in the Georgian classic style with a matching ergonomic chair. (Never forget to have the correct position when sitting for long hours.)
Lastly, the lighting. It shouldn’t be too bright; it should create a more romantic atmosphere. Therefore, floor lamps should be placed in different places to spread the perfect light. There is walnut lightning, which brightness you can regulate as a ceiling light.
