Peace is hiding under the ruins
between the children’s innocent laughter
and people’s hopeful dreams.
It fears the song of the bombs
and the touch of the blood
that like a vast sea
moistens the ground in deep red.
In agony, its soul shatters
under the war
into the unknown
and thus, it flees
at the farthest corner
of the Earth.
