Art journey

What cities do you want to visit?

The first city is London. I’ve already visited London, but it’s a big city with a lot to see, different districts, traditional shops, and museums. One visit isn’t enough, and I wouldn’t say no to a second, third, or even fourth visit.

The next town is Paris, especially the district—or arrondissement, as the French would say—Montmartre. I think Montmartre is Paris’s most historical artistic place, and many artists still hang around there. So, I want to sit with my laptop in a beautiful café, watching artists make portraits, absorbing and being inspired by that atmosphere, and just writing down what comes to mind. How beautiful romantically…

Another city I would like to visit is Florence, the flourishing city of medieval Europe and the birthplace of the Renaissance. It was a pioneering city in art, culture, commerce, economy, and finance, and it set the tone. In Florence, you can see beautiful architecture; for me, the whole city is an open museum.

I visited all three places, and… what can I say? Paris didn’t resonate with me (except for Montmartre), but London and Florence were absolutely charming and wonderful.

I know Paris is a little bit overrated. I only want to go to Paris because of Montmartre and the Père Lachaise Cemetery. 🙂
