What technology would you be better off without, why?

The technology I could easily live without is TV technology. I rarely watch TV; when I do, I only watch the News and some sports events.

But this wasn’t always the case; when I was younger, much younger, I was literally a couch potato. I watched long hours of TV and many series, and when one ended, it started another one. My late afternoons were filled with my routine TV program.

This behavior started to change when I began my studies and faded completely away 5-6 years ago when I started my writing work. In between, when the TV was turned on, it was only to keep me company, to hear a sound in the background. Not that I paid much attention to what was shown. It served more like a radio.

For that reason, TV technology has become unimportant to me and out of use.
