What’s something most people don’t know about you?
The thing people, concretely people from my environment, don’t know about me is how much hurt I feel inside me.
So far, I haven’t expressed my true feelings to anyone because I want to protect them. Over the years, starting from my teenage years and experiencing and going through hardships, more on an emotional level, I developed a self-protective mechanism.
What I mean by that is that I’m an INFP personality, which means very intuitive and introverted. As soon as I sense and realize I start to have an unpleasant emotion, I control it, keep it at the surface, and let others see what I want them to see. And the tension of that emotion that ultimately trickles through is known only to me. The distress and pain I actually feel, I cope with that and process it through my writing.
