Beauty of Africa

If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?

If I had a million!!! Wow, lucky me!!!

First, I would put a part of it in a bank or invest it elsewhere to earn monthly income, and then I would donate any further income. Under the line, I could continuously help others.

Who will I help? I would especially donate to schools and educational programs for children in Africa. Now, you may ask why children in Africa.

Africa is a beautiful, rich continent with its landscape and cultural traditions, such as dishes, clothing, dance, greetings, and religion from the manifold ethnicities. Furthermore, Africa has immense mineral wealth and resources, including diamonds, cobalt, platinum, uranium, and oil stocks. Moreover, South Africa is the world’s leading gold, chromite, and ferrochrome producer and the second leader in zirconium, manganese, and rutile.

For that richness, unfortunately, since Africa’s colonization, it has been exploited by rich, developed countries, and it’s still happening while I’m writing these lines. Company groups bribe corrupt governments and clans, so they purchase all these natural resources under favorable conditions. Under these conditions, I wouldn’t call them favorable conditions but robbery.

This corrupt system consequently has a crucial negative impact on the educational system. Therefore, I would donate all the money to education in Africa. As Francis Bacon once said, knowledge is power, and I hope the young generation of Africa will rise to its power.
