What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.
Years ago, I had a turning point in my life and decided to pursue any dream or goal without knowing the outcome. So, I stuck to my rule and started writing despite some people in my environment smiling pitifully with doubt at my attempt.
I wrote randomly poems and short stories to immerse myself in the feeling and state of writing. I read a lot of literature in different languages and from various genres, and handbooks on writing. A lot helped me the book by Steven King, “On Writing a Memoir of the Craft, “and “The Elements of Style” by Strunk & White with a foreword from Angell.
Then, one day, I had an idea for a children’s book and started writing it. I finished it, sent it to many publishers, and finally, it was published in May 2024.
I will keep on this path because nobody can guarantee what will happen tomorrow. Follow your dreams and goals, put a lot of work and love into whatever you do, and I’m sure everything will turn out well. At least you won’t feel remorse for missing an opportunity, which is the worst feeling.
