What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I have received so far was during my bachelor’s studies, or to be more accurate, close to the end of them. I was pondering which master’s program to start, and I considered something in pedagogy. I remember I discussed it with my professor, who supervised my dissertation, and she recommended—no, actually, she said it directly—that I stay in the field of literature since I had a gift for it. And I was/am good at comparative literature.
So, I followed the way literature for master’s finished that program, but tragic irony, after finishing my first job was teaching German. Anyway, what is important is that my love for literature and philosophy deepened due to these studies and inspired me to start writing my own stories.
