What notable things happened today?

Today, I had a nice conversation with the cashier at the supermarket. While putting my purchase on the conveyor belt, she told me today was her birthday. I wished her a happy birthday, and she revealed that she turned 51, which somehow bothered her. I told her that it’s not necessary to worry about it, that it’s just a number; what matters is how we feel. If you feel like you are 30, then you are 30.

Then, I don’t remember how, but we jumped to talk about Astrology, which, as I mentioned yesterday, is my new passion. I told her that I had a birth chart reading by an Indian astrologer, and every piece of advice he gave helped me a lot, and his predictions hit the mark. She replied that she also relied on astrology as she experienced its truth value at some moments in her life.

Overall, it was a pleasant chat, and we exchanged life experiences. I like these kinds of chats, which tend to be personal, as they bring people closer. Moreover, sometimes, we get confirmation that other people have similar experiences with ours. Means we are not alone in this world.
