BFF

What quality do you value most in a friend?

My top value in a friend is honesty because what I detest the most are lies. Sooner or later, a lie always comes to the surface, and then it can do more harm than if you had told the truth from the beginning. This shakes the trust, leading me to the following valuable quality a friend should fulfill. I must be sure I can trust my friend unconditionally without second thoughts about being betrayed. I can pour out my heart to him/her, and he/she won’t tell anybody else about my secrets. Furthermore, he/she will support me emotionally and show me possibilities for overcoming my problems. Putting these into practice is a matter that remains of course to oneself.

A good friend always remembers you at the important moments of your life, no matter how far apart. This is the case with my best friend. We have been friends since kindergarten, but I live in Greece now, and she is in Germany. However, we always know if something crucial is happening to the other.
