Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

Kafka is my favorite writer. For my bachelor’s diploma thesis, which was on the theme “Kafka’s Letter to his Father,” I read a lot about him. Of course, I read the famous letter, his journals, and many other analyses about his relationships with women, friends, and family members. I got a lot of information about his relationship with writing, what writing meant to him, and his procedures and methods regarding his work on writing.

I can say that he just had a very complex psychosynthesis, especially after reading The Letter to His Father and his journals; I felt that reality and fiction integrated each other. So, the reader is suspicious that his journals are more creative fiction and not actual experiences.

This writing method is precisely what I like about Franz Kafka. Furthermore, he was ahead of his time, and his works are still up to date. Also, his quotes are very significant, returning to the theme. The above-posted picture with the quote represents an essential part of my attitude.

It is up to us how old we feel. Despite our hardships in life, as long as we see the beauty inside us and the beauty of everything surrounding us and we keep our love for life and its beauty alive, our soul will stay young and make it possible to continue to walk vigorously forward in life.
