When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I can’t remember what I wanted to be when I was 10, let alone when I was 5. But I remember exactly when I turned 13 or 14. Our school had a program that took us to a Career Information Center, where we could learn about different career fields, what each job offers, the skills needed, and potential earnings. They also gave us a Career Aptitude Test so we could find out which field would suit us best. I found it to be very helpful and informative. Back then, my results suggested I would be good at some office work, and I found the Management Assistant for Wholesale and Foreign Trade role particularly interesting. Years later, after finishing school, I started an apprenticeship for that job.
Anyway, people continue to change, and after many years, I went back to school and university, and now I have a completely different job.
