Herculean

I listened to my heavy heart

beating dreadly aloud

in the herculean turmoil

of the vile, wicked world.

Howbeit, my valiant spirit

fiercely resisted

getting swept along

into a dreadful ravine.

Hope still shone on the horizon.

Joyous in ambition

to turn all evil upside down

and let goodness long reign.
