Becoming Enamored

The day we met under the pouring rain, our eyes interlocked in an instant moment and my heart cracked open. I felt changed, in a heartbeat. Love barged in fiercely, conquering every piece of it. All my being trembled, my soul in utter happiness and at once in great pain. Even strangers, I longed for you in despair, wanted you to be mine completely, and I, to pledge myself to you.

I knew I was lost forever.
