Lost in Paradise

The storm is blowing up the ocean.

The sun is firing up the Earth.

Nature has its own lasting canon.

And mankind lost itself in search.

This poem captures a powerful contrast between the raw, purposive power of nature and the restless, often aimless journey of humanity. The first two lines paint a vivid picture of natural forces at work, while the “lasting canon” suggests an ancient, unbreakable set of laws. The final line is a poignant observation on the human condition—always seeking, yet somehow more lost than the storms and sun that simply are.
