Budgeting and saving money require a good amount of discipline. Especially if the money doesn’t flow fluently. That can be especially cruel nowadays, as temptations rise as our society becomes increasingly consumer-driven, with luxury products and lifestyle ranking at the top of the list.

Thankfully, I never had such an inclination, and I have never been keen on purchasing brand-name attire or other unusual, expensive things. Moreover, I make a point of closely observing the product I need on the market before I buy it, paying much attention to the price-performance ratio.

All in all, I’ve been careful with spending money since I was a teenager.
