You get some great, amazingly fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?
Well, the first thing I would do is tell my parents. As every news about me, first and foremost, affects them.
After that, I would act as if nothing happened. No special further celebrations, partying, or outburst of amazement.
Some may wonder why.
Now, I have a retrograde Saturn in my 6th house, which means I carry a heavy karma from a previous life. In Vedic astrology, it’s called Prarabdha karma. It’s the kind of karma you can’t escape; you have to pay it off. Furthermore, I have Ketu in my 10th house, which lays an extra layer of difficulties.
The vibes Saturn and Ketu create in my birth chart are to create delays in all matters, to put extra work and effort into everything I do, and to urge me to detach from the status of success. It is not accompanied by failure or by not seeking success at all, but the importance behind all work lies in reaching and fulfilling a higher purpose in what I do. And since Saturn is involved, it also creates a cold atmosphere and reaction.
So, all this means is that I have to wait for a very, very long time for good news to reach me. When they finally do, they are unimportant to me. I’ve already detached myself from the possible outcome and the news, thanks to Ketu. The only thing that matters to me is the emotional and spiritual fulfillment in reaching the higher purpose.
